EES (Entry/Exit System) is a new EU border system that replaces the traditional passport stamp. If you're a non-EU national travelling to the EU for a short stay, you'll have your photo and fingerprints registered at the border on your first trip.
The system is now live across 29 EU countries and is designed to make border crossings faster and more secure.
